If achieving success is a matter of attitude, then shouldn't
people be able to make anything work by simply changing their attitude? Or
there’s a saying that attitude alone isn’t everything, attitude can’t define
success. If you’re still being skeptical, actually no, attitude alone doesn’t
define your success. Personally I don’t believe there is one recipe for success
instead success is a combination of several factors. Before you decided to end
your reading here, just make it until the 4 element of success and you’ll get a
brief idea (Trent Hamm, 2008).
The Element of Success
Knowledge
If you think that you’re lacking in terms of knowledge, I’ll say it’s
impossible. Everyone has some knowledge that others might not possess. It can
be as little as knowing the number of countries in the world. A strong
foundation of knowledge about a particular subject you’re interested or wish to
succeed often define the key building of success.
Natural Talent
On the other hand, some people just born lucky fully equipped with
talent that predisposition to succeed in certain areas. I myself could barely figure out what I'm good at and trust me it didn’t just magically appear in
me. It took me a lot of time to actually realize that I am good in writing. Find this
out for yourself by trying a lot of different activities and seeing what comes
easy to you. The things that you enjoy doing and closely impress someone
indicates you're on track.
Clear Goals and Planning
Create a raw plan as simple as listing down things to be done
regarding the route you’re taking. Much like a trip, you need plan of staying,
eating that sort of stuff. Keep in mind of the things you wish to accomplish
and what it brings to you in near future with an improvement plans surely
you’ll get done in no time.
Corporation/Support
Support from your significant other or your love ones makes the
success more meaningful. It’s like the saying behind every successful man is a
woman supporting them. Seeing someone telling you and giving you motivation
will eventually make you go further that you think you’ll ever make it.
The important thing about it is realizing and acknowledging that it is okay to
not living a perfect life where everything is bed of roses; even roses has
thorns. Keep in mind that “ Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation
determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.”
